SWEA Washington DC holds its annual Pea Soup event, "Ärtsoppa med Punch"
KAMILLA KOHN RÅDBERG, ph.d., who is counselor, science and innovation, and head of office of science and innovation at the embassy of sweden in washington, d.c., was the speaker at this year's SWEA pea soup - "ärtsoppa 2012" - event in Alexandria, VA. On Thursday evening, March 15. Ms. Kohn Rådberg discussed and compared, in her presentation, Sweden and the United States, when it comes to growth analysis and policy issues, education and innovation, etc.

WAVERLY GALLERY in Maryland, Bethesda, opened its February 2012 invitational show on Friday evening, Feb. 7 - an annual event that has proved to be one of the gallery's most popular shows offering plenty of artistic expression.

ON THURSDAY, Feb. 9 the Washington chapter of SWEA held its annual meeting at the Swedish Ambassador's residence on Nebraska Ave. in Northwest Washington, D.C.
