On Tuesday, June 15, 2010, SWEA Austin was honored to host one of the stops on the traditional Jenny Lind concert tour, this year featuring Astrid Robillard, Mezzo-Soprano, and Henrik Berg, Pianist, winners of the prestigious Jenny Lind and Otto Goldschmidt scholarships for 2010.

The concert was held at the Caswell House, a charming historic house in the heart of Austin. The morning of the concert, the two performers were guests on KUT radio (90.5) and interviewed by John Aielli, the host of the weekday morning program Eklektikos. The final concert location is traditionally in Bridgeport, CT, where the Swedish and American Jenny Lind winners perform together (see an article about this event both on-line and as a PDF).
